Review: Ollie Petroskovic is such a unique character, in some ways so confident and secure in himself, yet so lost and unsure in other aspects. I really enjoyed seeing the different sides to him and how he interacted with those around him.

Kade Alme is exactly what I love in a character in a book I am reading—strong, confident and knows what he wants. A little broken but more sure in himself, and willing to work and wait for what he really wants…and he really wants Ollie.

After being cheated on, having people only want him for his looks, and losing his brother, Ollie has decided that being alone will protect him from having to watch anyone else leave him or only want him for one thing. Kade sticks it out and proves he is in it for the long haul.

Will and Britney were definitely a little overprotective of Ollie, they love him and wanted to make sure he was happy, healthy and safe, and I get it. He had been through a lot and they didn’t want to lose him, but I think it was maybe just a tad excessive.

Ollie and Kade getting together was super hot and sexy. I love guys in satin and lace, and it appears Kade does too. :) I even really enjoyed the whole who-done-it aspect of the book, all the “accidents” that were happening around Ollie’s ex-friend, and the back and forth over who should do what aspects of the PI business kept me interested and turning the page to find out more. I was definitely not a happy camper at the end, as I stared at my Kindle shouting, “Are you kidding me? I have to wait!” But Model Citizen did what the author intended, and has me on pins and needles to see what will happen next.
