The town is counting on Roman to prevent Matt from learning about dog shifters, Matt’s counting on Roman to be his work partner and tell him the truth, and Roman’s trying to navigate love, sex, and a whole lot of messy human emotions. Who knew it was so complicated to walk like a man?

Review: Although parts of How to Walk Like a Man will completely break your heart, Roman’s happily-ever-after is worth it. So sweet!

Roman is innocent and loyal, and the way that Matt interacts with him just warms your heart. All of the books that I have read by Eli Easton, this one included, fall into the happy book category for me. These are the books I turn to when I am looking for a book to make me smile and swoon, the kind of book that when you get to the end you feel like letting out a contented sigh…warm and fuzzy, comfy-cozy-type books.

Roman questioning Lance when things came up that he didn’t understand had me cracking up. Seeing Lance stutter and stumble through trying to help his friend, but being so embarrassed he had trouble getting the words out, and having to either hand the phone to Tim or find his pen fascinating, were some of my favorite scenes.

This was definitely a slow burning romance between Roman and Matt, but one that I thoroughly enjoyed…dare I say, even more than How to Howl at the Moon?
