Blurb: It isn’t easy being a Morgan. Especially when dead bodies start piling up and there’s not a damned thing you can do about it.

Quinn Morgan never quite fit into the family mold. He dreamed of a life with books instead of badges and knowledge instead of law—and a life with Rafe Andrade, his older brothers’ bad boy friend and the man who broke his very young heart.

Rafe Andrade returned home to lick his wounds following his ejection from the band he helped form. A recovering drug addict, Rafe spends his time wallowing in guilt, until he finds himself faced with his original addiction, Quinn Morgan—the reason he fled the city in the first place.

When Rafe hears the Sinners are looking for a bassist, it’s a chance to redeem himself, but as a crazed murderer draws closer to Quinn, Rafe’s willing to sacrifice everything—including himself—to keep his quixotic Morgan safe and sound.

Review:  In case you were wondering, you couldn’t ask for anything more in a book than what Rhys Ford provides in the fourth book of the Sinners series. Rocks stars, a redeemed bad boy, a sexy nerd, and then throw in a little murder mystery and an Irish accent, and what you have is this masterpiece of wonderfulness.

That is my technical term for this book.

I personally cannot resist the redeemed bad boy. Rafe is that and so much more. Sexy, stubborn and totally dedicated to Quinn…there isn’t a single thing sexier. Quinn is definitely a different bird, so to speak—off the wall brilliant and marches to a different drum. As long as those drums are played by Rafe, he is going to be just fine. Rhys Ford is a go-to of mine because she writes mysteries from the heavens. There isn’t anything more to say than this whole series is a must read.

Narration: Combine the awesomeness that is Rhys Ford with the amazing vocal talents of Tristan James, and what you have is audiobook perfection. James vocals flowed so smoothly in and out of that Irish accent, and managed to make it sound differently amongst the family. He is such a professional. He has a distinct voice, however—no two books sound the same. This audiobook is a must listen.
