Thank you, Lisa, for having me on your blog today.

My latest release, Chasing Shadows, came out yesterday. Set against the rugged Cornish coastline, it tells the story of Jamie who is searching for his missing brother, and Felix—an ex-army sergeant fixated on the past.  Their paths cross and although they don’t hit it off from the start, the attraction is there if either of them are willing to act on it.

Exclusive Excerpt: “Oh. That’s great, then.” Jamie tried to sound sincere, but judging by the way Felix laughed again and shook his head, he’d failed miserably.

“You don’t think I’m office material?”

Jamie bit his lip, thinking how to explain without either offending Felix or embarrassing himself. He gestured at Felix’s everything. “You’re just so… so….” Felix smoothed his hands down his thighs and Jamie’s gaze caught and held there.

“So?”

For God’s sake! Jamie was good with words—they were his livelihood. How come he couldn’t find any now? “So not office material. No.”

“Oh? What would you suggest I do?” Felix was definitely amused now, and Jamie grinned back at him, playing along.

It had been a while since he’d flirted with someone like this, and he didn’t remember it being this easy and fun. “Something with your hands, maybe. Definitely something outside where you have to take your shirt off a lot.” In for a penny and all that.

Felix lifted up his T-shirt, revealing his nicely defined six-pack and a thick dark happy trail. “I don’t know,” he tried to look unsure, but Jamie caught the twitch of his lips as he attempted not to smile. “You think people would want to see this?”

Jamie nodded, his mouth dry all of a sudden. People would definitely want to see that. Jamie wanted to lick it.

Blurb: Jamie Matthews goes to Cornwall to find his missing brother. The police are convinced Michael drowned, but Jamie knows better. No way would Michael swim to his death, especially on a beach with a wicked rip tide. Finding a stranger in his brother’s cottage only deepens his misgivings.

Felix Bergstrom is recently discharged from the British Army. Unable to put the past behind him, he takes an unhealthy interest in old acquaintance and millionaire businessman Karl Weston, hoping to catch him up to no good. Michael’s disappearance adds fuel to Felix’s suspicions. Weston’s clifftop home overlooks the beach where Michael supposedly walked into the sea, but Weston has an alibi for that day.

When Jamie and Felix meet, the physical attraction is instant. Mistrust keeps them from acting on it until finally all their secrets are laid bare. But time isn’t on their side. Before they’re able to work out whether they have a future, danger catches up with them and threatens to put an end to everything.
