Here’s a Sneak Peek at the Coming Week – And a Few Welcomes

Sneak Peek

Cheers, everyone, and thanks to you for stopping by to see what we have coming up in the week ahead. But first, before I introduce our guests for the week, I want to extend a warm welcome to three new members of The Novel Approach review team.

Lindsey, Brock, and Mike have joined the group–I’ll let them introduce themselves in their own words.

Dividers

TNA_LindseyHi, I’m Lindsey! A thirty-something book lover, coffee addict and one of those crazy people who dance in their cars to any music that’s playing.

I always enjoyed reading, but it wasn’t until my lovely child came along in 2008 that I became an official addict. TV stopped happening because “little ears” and all that. My loving husband gave me the best gift (resulting in his biggest mistake, or so he says…  because he just doesn’t get it. But that’s okay I don’t get his love of fishing) a Kindle. Since then I have submersed myself in the written word and haven’t looked back!

When I’m not doing the whole “mommy, wife, work” thing you can find me parked in a comfy spot (I’m not too picky) reading and enjoying a cup of coffee or, if I’m lucky, a glass of wine!

Dividers

TNA_Signature_BrockB.A. Brock has lived most of his life in the Pacific Northwest, with a couple years in Oklahoma. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in 2007 at Portland State University–which he mostly uses to contemplate how we can achieve a civilization more closely aligned with Star Trek. Because of his obsession to boldly go, his favorite novels are usually Speculative Fiction, or gritty Thrillers, but he has been known to read almost anything under the sun, and enjoys all the beautiful colors of the rainbow.

When not reading/reviewing novels, Brock spends his time writing, training for marathons, hanging out with his dog, and bemoaning the fact the world has yet to make a decent gluten free doughnut.

Favorite Speculative Fiction Novel: Heroes Die by Matthew Woodring Stover.

Dividers

TNA_MikeMike Martinez lives and works in Chicago; his day job is event production and coordination and does beta reading, reviewing, and critiquing fiction primarily in the M/M genre for fun (and precious little profit).  He writes genre fiction that makes the City of Chicago as much a character of his works as the people who populate them. He also does random child care for a small number of children who benefit from his love of iambic pentameter, show tunes, and all genres of music other than rap.

Dividers

I’m so excited to share their reviews with you and to have them joining us here at TNA. And now, here’s the lineup of guests this week!
