Blurb: In a world without surface water, Jimini Renn wants nothing more than to live inside the protective walls of Adam City for the rest of his life, but his little brother has other ideas.
As far as Jimini is concerned, Adam City has everything he needs. It has a well that provides much-needed water, food, and safety from the dangers of the outside world. When his bookworm of a brother leaves to chase waterfalls, Jimini must follow even though he knows it will probably mean his death. When the first person he meets on the outside pulls a gun on him, he’s proven right. No one who calls himself a slaver and has a gun has Jimini’s safety in mind, even if he is sexy. The journey Jimini expects isn’t the one he gets.

The Excerpt
Jimini dropped the water jug and sack on the ground and nearly ran the rest of the way to Aaruth. He wrapped his arms and legs around him, holding on for dear life. “My love,” Jimini whispered right before he kissed Aaruth.
Aaruth’s arms wrapped around him, upsetting the material of his shirt. He felt the material get pushed up and then Aaruth’s hands were on his bare skin, touching him everywhere he could reach.
Jimini thrust his tongue in Aaruth’s mouth when the man opened up for him, tasting him once again. He wouldn’t ever let Aaruth go, and Jimini kissed him with the single-minded purpose of reassuring Aaruth of that fact. Jimini had never really been the aggressor whenever they had kissed before now, so his behavior probably came as a bit of a surprise to Aaruth. It got his point across nicely, though.
His fingers threaded through the strands of Aaruth’s hair, and he used that to his advantage. He fisted Aaruth’s hair and tilted his head to the side at the same time he broke the kiss suddenly. Jimini kissed the hot skin on Aaruth’s neck. He licked across his neck and then bit down gently.
“By the gods, Jimini.”
Jimini moaned and licked the sting away.
“You really want to do this out here?” Aaruth was breathless as he said it.
Jimini wasn’t sure what he was talking about, and he didn’t care, as long Aaruth didn’t let go of him ever again.
He sucked up a mark on Aaruth’s neck.
“Okay, I guess you do,” Aaruth said and then Jimini felt himself descend to the ground. The sand beneath him was hot, and he gasped against Aaruth’s skin. “What? What is it?”
“Hot.”
“Shit. Sorry, love.” Aaruth lifted him up again and this time, Jimini put his feet on the ground.
“Will you go inside with me?” Jimini asked, finally understanding what Aaruth meant.
“Yeah, but I’m not staying in there.” Aaruth had this look on his face that was both stubbornly determined about leaving Adam City and the thought also upset him.
