Thank you for having me here today! Let me introduce myself. I’m Christine d’Abo and I’m an author and lover of erotic romance. It’s funny how much music has become a part of my writing routine. Even a book like No Remedy, one that I wrote years ago, I still needed my playlist to get into the right mindset to edit.
So as I dove back into my Bounty universe, I had some tunes to keep me engrossed. I thought I’d share them with you. I’ve also shared my playlist on Spotify if you’d like to check them out for yourself.
Two Weeks – FKA twigs
Tough Love – Jessie Ware
Open – Rhye
No Lie – Wet
Rumors (feat. Tove Lo) – Adam Lambert, Tove Lo
Alone (feat. Tru) – Hollyn, TRU
Under Your Spell (feat. Celeigh Chapman) – sain arrow, Celeigh Chapman
Push + Pull – July Talk
This Is What You Came For – Calvin Harris, Rihanna
What are some of your favorite songs to listen to when you’re going about your day?

About No Remedy
For months, Mace Simms has been seeking an antidote for the poison killing her mentor. Her only hope is Alec Roiten, a brilliant scientist hiding on a backwater planet. Posing as a research assistant, Mace offers the elusive genius all the help she can, ignoring the explosive chemistry between them. Soon they’re close to a cure.
But then Alec’s former love Byron shows up, attempting to claim a bounty on Alec’s head, and all that careful research gets left behind when they’re forced to flee. And when Byron realizes the tip-off about Alec was a ruse by his rivals to lure him out into the open to kill him, the bounty hunt turns into a three-person scramble for survival.
Byron wants his old lover back, Alec is consumed by a haunting secret about the poison he’s desperate to defeat, and Mace is caught between them. But she’s beginning to think that’s exactly where she belongs as the three are drawn together in their race against death.
Publisher’s note: This title is an edited second edition, previously published in 2011.

I listen to different songs depending on what I’m doing. In my office, I go for classic like Chopin’s Nocturnes, but when I’m home doing house chores I turn to more energetic songs (AC/DC or Metallica are some of my favourites). If I’m walking, classic pop/roc is what I enjoy, and if I want to chill out, classical guitar is my thing… So you see, many different things!

Thank you for the playlist. I haven’t listened to any of these songs and I’m actually youtubing them as we speak, lol.
As of late I’ve just listening to whatever comes on Pandora (anything along the line of alternative rock, folk rock, kpop/hiphop, jrock&pop, indie (pop, rock, folk), and oldies.
