Review: Different authors have different strong points. One of Charlie Cochet’s strong points is building an arsenal of amazing supporting characters who elevate their books to greatness. Joe Applin is one of the most lovable characters I have ever encountered. I want to take him home with me and keep him. I want to work at Apple ’n Pies so I can watch the train wreck that is Bea, Elsie, and Donnie.
Now, Tom I want to take him home for a completely difference reason…::wink:: Together, all these characters, and an amazing mystery, equal a sweet and suspenseful love story that had me rooting for Joe from the beginning. I started this book smiling and that just turned into simple joy.
Narration: John Solo is narrating a lot of the Dreamspun Desires books, and is doing a wonderful job of it. I liked his voice much more for this story than the few previous to this. He is a very talented narrator.
