Less Angst, More Thriller

My son is currently picking university courses, but he has very diverse interests which don’t really overlap. He’s really struggling whether to choose Biochemistry or Power Engineering. Like me, he has many interests.

What has this to with Morning My Angel? Let me explain. I have so many genres I’m interested in, especially crime and thrillers. One of the proofers for MMA mentioned that this story was less angsty than my usual fare, and they are right. I still love angst with a fiery passion but MMA just didn’t tickle my angsty taste buds. This story is less character-driven and more plot-driven. That doesn’t mean to say there’s not a feisty romance between Josh and…, but MMA is me venturing in something more mainstream for the first time.

I’ve got plans over the next year to write a balance of romance and mainstream but all with an M/M flavour. My main problem is there is so much I want to write. My next story is a full-blown angst-driven relationship, and after that is a jewel heist!

Wise people say you should stick to one genre, and to a certain extent I agree with them. And one day I will follow their instructions, I promise.

About the Book

morning-my-angel-jpg Josh Cooper, top US security field agent, is sent on an inter-agency assignment to London, when a partner in his firm goes missing in suspicious circumstances. Used to working in sole charge of his well-honed team, he clashes heads with the handsome, but pompous Cal, his UK co-operator and superior. Josh’s gut tells him something is wrong. About the Author

Sue Brown is owned by her dog and two children. When she isn’t following their orders, she can be found plotting at her laptop. In fact she hides so she can plot, and has become an expert at ignoring the orders.

Sue discovered M/M erotica at the time she woke up to find two men kissing on her favorite television series. She had an Aha moment and put pen to paper that same day. Sue may be late to the party, but she’s made up for it since, writing fan fiction until she was brave enough to venture out into the world of original fiction.
