Review: Island Doctor is a cozy story that shows two very different men falling in love. Jeff is currently in a relationship, and inevitably goes through a breakup with Tris. Jeff responds to one of his patient’s grandsons, Cameron, in a wonderful and naughty way, and we watch as they fall in love and interact in with the third main character of this book, the Isle of Wight.
As usual, Sue Brown creates loveable but flawed characters and an amazing supporting cast, especially Cameron’s Gran, she is fabulous! I always look forward to going to the Isle of Wight in this series and cannot wait to visit again.
Narration: This was my first book narrated by Adam Rivington. He has a lovely accent that complemented the characters nicely. Sometimes that combination is enough, and I really did enjoy this audio; however, I did have a hard time differentiating the characters as they conversed and had to rewind a couple of times to figure it out.
