Review: Kris T. Bethke is a new-to-me author, and I will definitely be checking into more of her writing. This author didn’t skimp on the story even though the page count is low, and there is heaps of steam between Travis and Noah. Friends-to-lovers and hurt/comfort are some of my favorite tropes, and this author nailed them. I loved that both Travis and Noah, who are in their 30s, act like it. The sweetness abounded but the MCs were adult characters, too.

The only problem I had was the conflict with Noah’s mother. It seemed a bit out of character to me, but it was handled beautifully and once again, in an adult manner.

Kudos to the author for a job well done.
