Hi, everybody.
This is my first guest post EVER, so please be sympathetic!
First of all, I’d like to thank Lisa for giving me this opportunity to talk about my golf boys. I’m an Italian M/M author. I’ve been writing fanfictions for many years (I was deeply in love with the Sherlock BBC fandom!), then I’ve been given the opportunity to write an ebook about Sherlock Holmes for an Italian erotic publisher. So, I took that opportunity and, since then, I’m writing M/M novels, which got mainly published by Triskell Rainbow, a very “big” name in the Italian gay romance market.
Now, I decided to look abroad. So I translated “Sette giorni” and gave it a try. I was really excited when JMS said they were going to release it. Thanks, JMS Books! I love you <3
This is the book I love the most among my publications. That’s because Reggie Weston is very similar to myself. He’s insecure, but talented. He needs the love of another person to finally blossom.
I also love golf very much. I understand that in other countries, mainly in the US, golf is very popular, but not in Italy. So, I wanted my readers to know how beautiful this sport is thanks to this book.
I hope you’ll enjoy this book and that you’ll love my golf boys, even if just a little.
Hugs & kisses,
Cristina

Blurb: During a golf tournament in Virginia, American golfer Reginald Weston meets Russell Lee, the British former world champion in the sport. The two men hit it off when Reginald takes Russell under his wing, teaching him the tricks of the game.
As their friendship deepens, Reginald finds himself falling in love with the Englishman, though he knows Russell doesn’t feel the same. He’s painfully aware of the fact that Russell isn’t gay.
But there’s more to Russell than meets the eye. He’s a troubled soul, plagued by monsters in his head telling him who he should be. He’s spent most of his life hiding his sexuality from the world so he won’t disappoint his homophobic mother.
Is seven days enough time for Russell to break through the years of hurt and accept the new direction fate has in store for him and Reginald?

The Excerpt
There, there was Russell Lee, a British pro player. His idol.
Contrary to what one would have thought, Reggie Weston wasn’t crazy about Phil Mickelson, he didn’t relive the old glories of Jack Nicklaus, and his room wasn’t covered with Tiger Woods posters. No, he used to sleep with a poster of Russell Lee above his bed.
Russell Lee was born into golf. His father, Ronald Lee, had been the idol of Reggie’s mom, Emily, so he had grown up listening to his parents glorifying European golf and especially somebody called Lee. One year, when Reggie was about six or seven years old, they had saved money for months to be able to go to the Masters in Augusta, and satisfy Emily’s desire to meet Ronald Lee.
Russell had been world number one for a while. He was still one of the best players on the circuit but, apart from the majors, he participated in the PGA tournaments only occasionally. Reggie hadn’t yet had the occasion to meet him in person, hadn’t played with him, nor found him a few inches from his face, like in that moment.
Staring at his idol, he seemed to have forgotten how to breathe, while his heart, after the initial shock, started galloping as furiously as a crazy horse.
Reggie felt an incredible emotion.
Russell Lee was nine years older than he. His curly hair, honey blonde, were tied in a modest ponytail with a red rubber band, his cheeks were covered by a light beard, his eyes were caustic blue, and his body massive but slim.
In that moment, Reggie felt small. Minuscule. Not physically—he was quite tall, if not as tall as the Brit, and he was slender—but on a professional level. He felt like a minuscule grain of sand in a sea of mastery.

About the Author
Cristina Bruni lives in northern Italy with her husband and their child. She’s already published many M/M novels in Italy with Triskell Rainbow publisher. Since she was a young girl, her biggest wishes were being a mother and an author and now, after fighting for it for years, she finally succeeded in both. She loves travelling abroad, going to the cinema, reading Sherlock Holmes, luxury bags and playing tennis and golf. She’s madly USA-sick and UK-sick.
She made her debut writing fanfictions and, now, her new wish would be writing love Male-to-Male stories for the rest of her life and living on a beach in Hawaii.
Maybe dreams will come true again, sooner or later…
