At a Glance: Unfortunately, I think the author tried to pack too much into a novella. Emotions, particularly for one character, moved way too fast for me to be able to look past it.

Blurb: Seth Foster’s biggest mistake wasn’t being in Jason’s arms…it was running from them. After all, running and hiding are what Seth does best. Running down a football field, hiding from the world and himself what he truly feels inside. He thought tearing down the old house would purge the memories. He didn’t realize buying the place would bring Jason Gentry back into his life.

Review: Full Circle had the makings of a sweet romance. Two men, who’d grown up together and shared one fateful night of sexual awakening, finally coming full circle, back together after their lives led them in different directions. Told in alternating points of view, the story unfolds sequentially, but through different lenses, and this adds a deeper view of how it evolves. The sex between the two men was also very hot and passionate, well described and provocative.
Unfortunately, I think the author tried to pack too much into a novella. Emotions, particularly for one character, moved way too fast for me to be able to look past it. The movement from closet to love occurred way too fast, and with the absence of the internal history and current struggle that justify the dramatic change of heart. This proved to be too much for me to overlook in terms of enjoying the book.
Had this been a longer novel where the characters were fully developed and the emotions explored at a more realistic pace, I would be writing an entirely different review.
