The Collins’ investigations soon bring to light another similarity between the murdered men: they were all slender, effeminate, and gay. After Andrew’s body is discovered, Brent and Quinn think they may know who is responsible for the hitchhiker killings.
But when Quinn goes undercover, he finds himself in much deeper waters than he expected. All they have to do is prove it … without ending up dead themselves.
Review: PIs Quinn and Brent Collins are a married couple who own their own private investigations business. They take a mysterious case for Mrs. Constance Taylor, whose son Adam has gone missing. Both Quinn and Brent are determined to solve this case, no matter what stands in their way.
Brent’s uncle, who is head of the DPD, puts aside his feelings about Brent and Quinn being married and helps them with their case. The more they dig into Adam’s case, they discover more missing young men, and find that they all have certain commonalities. Both Quinn and Brent have some tough situations to face with Adam’s case, but they have each other to lean on. Quinn really takes this case to heart, and when he goes undercover, his life is in grave danger.
Edward Kendrick gives us two solid and loving characters in Quinn and Brent Collins. They not only work well together, but they have a strong and loving bond. The mystery itself is well written and has a little twist to surprise you too.
