Blurb: Glenn Holloway’s predictable life ended the day he confessed his homosexuality to his family. Review: I started off liking Glenn when he rescues a young lady from her screwed up parents. I could relate with him when it came to his family. Who wouldn’t be a little messed up when you think what is…isn’t? And having to adjust to that…well, I would say it would take time to reevaluate and adjust. Which eventually happens with a little push from Stefan.
My only problem with When the Dust Settles is that I wish it had been just a bit more fleshed out when Glenn starts to come around to his family, and in his relationship with Mac. As a short story it’s okay, and maybe I missed something because I haven’t read After the Sunset yet.
As for Sean Crisden’s narration, it’s really a vast improvement from when he performed Timing. Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy that audio as much as I did this one, mainly because there were times that I swear the man overdosed on caffeine and was racing towards the end. It’s much better with the narration slowed down and the characters’ voices more defined.
I’m giving When the Dust Settles a 3.5 Star rating.
