Review: When this book hit my inbox, I admit to being all grabby hands. Book six left me in a lurch, and I have been looking forward to this book to get Daniel and Ryan back on track. Don’t get me wrong, book six was good, and Daniel and Ryan certainly moved forward in that book, but I needed them to make a clear connection, and yeah, I got that in book seven. And with the blurb for book eight—ahhhh, now I’m back on pins and needles, wondering how Eradani is going to handle that particular setup!

Book seven begins in the middle of a scene for our MCs. They’ve been together for a while now, moving ever so slowly toward being true boyfriends, not just Dom and sub. In the last book, the two finally admitted how they felt about each other, and now, in book seven, the cement is forming around the two and their relationship. Frankly. let’s hope that book eight doesn’t crack that cement. Once more, Ryan is pushing Daniel’s boundaries, but this time he is challenging him to think beyond their private scenes and invite the outside world into their private haven. It takes some doing, some hard thinking on Daniel’s part, but eventually he consents to two different scenarios that involve public play…sorta. Daniel is, little by little, conceding more and more control over to Ryan, not just in their scenes but also in the planning and concept stages of their play. Ryan is truly taking the time to learn his submissive inside and out: his tells, his wants, his needs, and where he can push the limits with Daniel.

The first scene they try appeals to Daniel’s vanity and pride. Letting Daniel be on display, letting others see how good he is, is a massive turn on for Daniel. What Daniel doesn’t expect is the way his feelings flip in the middle of the scene, and it’s not about him anymore; it’s about establishing his ownership of Ryan and not letting anyone else see or be able to lay a claim on what Daniel considers his. Daniel then becomes concerned because he’s starting to realize he wants things from Ryan, things that go beyond weeks or even months together.

“I know.” Ryan catches the hem of his t-shirt, the one Daniel put on earlier. “Because you chose to be mine, and it means none of them can have you.”

“And that’s what I want out of it,” Daniel says. “I want all of them looking at what they can’t have, because you already have it.”

Scene two is not about being seen but about holding it together and not drawing attention to himself. This scenario is all about Daniel’s control of himself, a control he definitely prides himself on, and it appeals to him to push his boundaries a little and see how far his control can stretch. It blurs the lines between where Daniel Brown begins and Ryan’s Daniel ends. This scene takes Daniel right to his breaking point and the sex afterward had me fanning my face.

“You held it together so well,” Ryan says. “Came apart just for me. Only for me.”

OK, the blurb for book eight takes Daniel and Ryan in a direction that scares me to death. I love these two; the chemistry is off the charts and the feels can be overwhelming, so why a third? I have every confidence in Eradani to make it good and keep my favorite couple going, and yes, I will go all grabby hands on it again when Caught In Between hits my inbox.

Warning, these books do not stand alone. They are not individual stories, you cannot just pick up here and go, but they are not long. Each novella is less than a hundred pages, and Amazon has a bundle deal. I highly recommend it!
