Blurb: Galen and Shane are back in the final installment of the Stormy Weather series, and a tempest of epic proportions is brewing. Once they couldn’t get enough of each other, but now Galen’s long hours are driving a wedge between him and Shane. Lonely and starved for his lover’s attention, bartender Shane falls in with a new crowd that doesn’t have his best interests at heart, and Galen struggles with a workload he can’t manage and an unscrupulous partner who wants to eliminate Shane. He can barely keep his head above water, let alone chart a course home to Shane.

While they’re floundering and trying to hold their relationship together, a hurricane heads for the Florida coast—and they’re directly in the path of the storm. It’s a crisis that will either finally break them apart or remind them how much they stand to lose if they don’t hold on to each other.

Also included is the free novella Bartender Rescue.

Review: Galen Frost, retired semipro football player, finds his time with Shane Barton being cut short. Whenever Galen gets a break to go home, his slimy business partner orders him to do more promotions for the football team they bought into. Now, the situation is weighing heavily on Galen, and what makes it worse is when he calls home and can’t get Shane on the line.

When Galen finally makes it home, Shane has a surprise for him. But the demands of Galen’s business deal cut his time short again, and Shane starts to feel useless and unworthy of Galen. Shane finds himself spending more time bartending, and with friends. There’s one friend in particular who is willing to give Shane anything he wants, and it leaves Shane feeling unsure. Galen has to be careful; he knows Shane is friendly and a people magnet, and it could be real easy to lose Shane.

When Galen is away once again, he realizes that his so-called business partner has been up to no good, and heads home before he takes drastic measures. But Shane becomes overwhelmed, and people start to interfere in the already shaky relationship. Desperate and vulnerable, he finds himself packing up Goober and Khan and leaving Galen’s home. Thank goodness for Galen’s momma; she gives sound advice to Shane, and he heads home right smack into a hurricane. Both Galen and Shane have to face reality and find a way to survive the hurricane and their stormy relationship.

In this third installment of the Stormy Weather series, BA Tortuga delivers a stormy, emotional, and erotic chapter in Galen and Shane’s growing relationship. For Galen and Shane, it seems that sometimes you can be so close that you miss what’s really going on. Shane is sweet and vulnerable, and he surprises Galen when he takes a stand to protect what he loves. Decisions have to be made on what they want for a future, for themselves and each other. They also have to face people using them for their own gains. Even though Galen’s momma doesn’t have a big part in the storyline, she is a breath of fresh air when it comes to her boys. She loves Shane just like her own son, and treasures her grandchildren, Goober and Khan.

As Hurricane seems to be the final story for Galen and Shane, which I hate to see end, BA Tortuga gives us a bonus, Bartender Rescue. It’s a short story and gives us a look at where Shane and Galen are in their lives, eight years later. The tables have turned, and Shane seems to be overwhelmed in the hectic bar business, and just maybe their relationship is in trouble once again. Stormy Weather is just a wonderful, simple series of two men who really love with all their heart. I enjoyed the entire series: the storylines, the great characters, and BA Tortuga’s unique writing style.
