Blurb: What happens when you throw a whole bunch of Lost Ones in a posh hotel, sprinkle in some grown humans who like to play dress-up, add a twist of sinister vibes, a quirky treasure hunt, a spooky riddle, and some yummy sandwiches?
Wait. You don’t know? F*ck, me neither. I guess we’re gonna find out.
Some folks will probably get unalived—not our fault. Adam will want to help, because he’s nice like that. And Fancy Fangs is gonna sleep through it—or get his fine ass kidnapped. Because he’s ancient and mostly useless.
Anyway, if folks are dying, why we gotta be heroes? It’s not like we’re famous for saving people. Oh wait… f*ck. Then there’s the whole magic snowstorm that rolls in, and now we’re stuck with Mr. Creepy Concierge, cameras in inappropriate places, and have I mentioned the axe murderer?
Just another day on the road… But so we’re all clear, we’re definitely not on the run.

Review: If there’s trouble, it will find them. If anything can go wrong, it will. Those are the rules of the road Adam, Zee, and Victor travel, and it’s readers who reap all the rewards as the dragon, the demon, and the vampire run far and fast from Adam’s brother. Or, as Adam likes to pretend, take a spontaneous cross-country road trip for fun and adventure.
The guys are oh-for-two in the relaxation department. The hotel in Minnesota they choose to stop at for a night or two is elegant, but also weird at best, sketchy at worst. A LARP convention sees the guys mixing with a bunch of Adam, Zee, and Victor wannabes. And even that doesn’t earn the title of the strangest thing happening at the Stephanie Hotel.
That award goes to something else entirely.
There is no shortage of beings, creatures, and unexpected entities in this alt-reality world where they all coexist. Sometimes even peacefully. Ariana Nash serves up the sass and sweetness and spice that’s a staple of this -verse, but it’s the love that holds it all together. Without the love, this threesome wouldn’t be willing to charge headlong into the fray with and for each other. Being the Heroes of San Francisco doesn’t mean their great powers come with great responsibility. It does mean their great powers come with greater curiosity. That’s why their kind of trouble is so much fun: there’s always new trouble to discover when death is on the line.
