Blurb: It’s the end! Again.

Being on the road has been fun an’ all (no, it hasn’t). Van life is awesome (it sucks, there’s no room for my fabulousness). But all good things must end, according to Fancy Fangs. He’s wrong. Good things should last forever.

Just so long as me, Victor and Adam don’t end, right?

So after we solved a burly werewolf murder, got ourselves mixed up with an evil luxury hotel, we’re now in Florida! Sun, sea, and… the troll mafia, a trap we walked right into, and did I mention… THERE’S F*CKING FROGS HERE?!

We all gonna die.

Review: As Adam Vex himself would say, “Oh dear.”

This is indeed the end. The final fond farewell to these delightfully quirky characters and the fantastical world they managed to contrive into a home complete with found family, gremlin infestations, and all the drugs and liquor they could want. This ain’t your grandma’s Harlequin romance, for sure, but it is sweet and comfortable and lovely nonetheless (even if it is a little murdery on occasion).

Before Adam, Zee, and Victor take a final bow and the curtain closes on their hijinks, there has to be a reckoning. That’s what this road trip has been leading up to, after all, and it happens in a way that shows Adam’s character and capacity to be merciful despite the fact he’s been shown so little mercy in his life.

Even as the series comes to a close, the SOS Hotel carries on in all its singular glory, as does the unlikely love affair between the dragon, the demon, and the vampire.
