Review: After reading the blurb for this book, I just HAD to have it. Yes, even the paperback just from the blurb. I am a complete whore for the opposites attract stories, and who doesn’t love rude, crude and tattooed guys? I mean REALLY!!! After reading BAMF, I have to say that once again SJD Peterson just gets me. I would almost swear this woman writes books just for me. Now, I know that isn’t true, deep down, but man, I just love her books.

Now, I am not up on the lingo the kids are using these days, so I will have to admit to asking around to find out what BAMF means. Now that I know, I have to say this book was titled perfectly. Ridley was bullied when he was younger but instead of becoming a bully himself, he decided to become a protector of the bullied. With his exterior armor: the fauxhawk and the tattoos and the piercings, Ridley looks the part of the badass perfectly. When he sets his sights on the nerdy library assistant, he finds out that the school bully also has Alex Firestone in his sights, but for very different reasons.

When Ridley finds himself trying to rescue Alex from the bully and his back up, he finds out that Alex may not need his help after all. When Ridley is injured while trying to help out, Alex takes it upon himself to nurse the man back to health. After spending days together, the two men realize that they may want more than just some really great, really down and dirty sex. Before either man can touch on the subject, Alex’s past rears its ugly head and both men find their lives turned upside down. It seems they are going to have to hide out, and what could be better than hiding out together? With plenty of time living together, they grow much closer and both men don’t want to say goodbye when the time comes, but they also don’t know how to ask the other to stay.

Ms. Peterson has done it again with this book. I will say that I had a pretty good idea of the twist early on, but I loved it all the more as I got to know the boys. Even with all of her BDSM titles under her belt, I believe the sex scenes in this book are the be all, end all. I mean, between the man handling, the dirty talk, the biting and the day after effects, it’s a wonder these two survived each other. Don’t assume there aren’t any tender moments, though; these two men are on my top 5 all time couples list, for sure.

I would highly recommend this title. This is one you don’t want to miss.
