N.R. Walker’s new release, Blind Faith is due January 26th from Silver Press. I’ve been giving this one the hairy eyeball of intense interest, let me tell you! I’ve never read anything by this author before, but I’m a sucker for a romance with a character who has a disability, because really, what is sweeter and more redeeming than someone who has more than his share of challenges to face and overcome finding the love of a lifetime? It melts my wee little heart, it does.
Silver is running a contest for the chance to win a copy of Blind Faith, so if you’re interested, click on the cover image and head on over there to enter. But hurry! The contest ends at 11:59pm on January 25th! Good luck!

Starting a new job in a new town, veterinarian Carter Reece, makes a house call to a very special client.
Arrogant, moody and totally gorgeous, Isaac Brannigan has been blind since he was eight. After the death of his guide dog and best friend, Rosie, his partnership with his new guide dog, Brady, isn’t going well.
Carter tries to help both man and canine through this initiation phase, but just who is leading whom?
Damn it, it sounds interesting…..
Right? This is the book I was talking to you about the other day. I entered. :-D
Sooooo torn.
Have you read Afflicted (and the sequel) by Brandon Shire? Both were really good. Goes into a lot of detail showing what life is like for a blind person. Oh and the sex between the two main characters is so hot!
I also have another book in my TBR pile about a blind man starting over after the death of his partner…Too Soon for Love by Kimberly Gardner. Sounds like it would be good. I will get to it eventually. :)
Like you, I enjoy reading about a character who faces difficult challenges, but still finds true love.
I have Brandon’s books on my TBR list too, but haven’t gotten to them yet! I follow him on Twitter and he posts links to reviews of his books, which makes me wonder why I’ve waited so long to get to them. I really need to bump them up to the top of the pile. I’m not even exaggerating when I tell you I currently own more books than I could ever read in one lifetime. :-D
I’m going to go have a look at Too Soon for Love too. I don’t think I’ve ever read anything by that author either. Isn’t it funny how you can feel like all you do is read and read, yet you still miss all these great books and authors?
I can’t recall any great books I’ve read with a blind protagonist. My favorite book with a deaf protag is still the first St. Nacho’s book. I love Shawn. <3
