Review: How to review The Wishbone? Let me start off by saying that I enjoyed it a lot. It’s pretty funny and with only one sex scene, very hot. It was wham-bam-thank-you-Ma’am, but here is the issue that I had with this book: the story has only two scenes, the dinner and the sex scene. It took me all of 15 minutes to read the whole book. I can’t really call The Wishbone a short story because to me it was an essay on a chance encounter and all that followed.
As I said before I liked the book. The premise is that Paul goes home for Thanksgiving and gets set up with Roger, his cousin by marriage, whom he hasn’t seen in many years. That’s all there is! Their teenage attraction carries over to the present. So after dinner, they retire to Paul’s childhood bedroom. In comes the sex. Very hot and satisfying!!! :-) Mr. Rosen used some pretty prose to describe the action. It had me laughing out loud. The only plot twist was who was going to get done. :)
I would have liked this story to be longer, but if you’re looking for a quickie, pick up The Wishbone!
