When I saw the submission call from Evernight Publishing for the Executive Assistant: Manlove Edition Anthology I knew I wanted to write a story for it. Desks, office supplies, sexual politics…desks; what more can you ask for?

The idea for Justin and John came to me after I thought about the usual way a story might be written using power exchanges. But I wanted to flip it. I wanted Justin, the non-descript assistant to be the one with all the power behind the scenes, and John, the high power executive, to kneel.
