Blurb: Tiger shifter Evgeny worries that he’ll never find a lover who can stand up to his sheer size and strength. He’s scared off more than one man, which is why he turns to Harve and Stone at Full Moon Dating. He wants someone who can deal with his tiger self and not run away.
Acrobat and snow leopard Feng is all over Ev’s physicality. He’s used to working without a net, so he’s not afraid of anything Ev can dish out. Especially since Feng finds Ev far gentler than anyone would expect. They’re determined to make a two-city love affair work, so when Feng disappears, Ev will move heaven and earth to find him.
Review: Full Moon Dating – Evgeny and Feng is another story in the Full Moon Dating series about a paranormal dating agency. I really enjoyed reading the others and was excited to get this one. I liked Evgeny and Feng, it was a cute and sexy story, longer than the first two books, and even though I liked it, I feel this one lacked the one-two punch of the others.
The setup is the same: two shifters are set up on a blind date through a dating agency. They are matched up based on the fact that they are totally opposite. Evgeny, a tiger shifter, is an artist and a top who always wants to be in charge but is afraid that his large size and power intimidates potential partners. Feng is a petite acrobat and a snow leopard shifter. He’s a laidback surfer who’s fun and sensual and is willing to take everything Evgeny can dish out.
There is mutual attraction (lust) from the start and after dinner is done, they head back to Ev’s house for some fun. They are a good match; one’s a total Alpha and the other wants to be taken by the Alpha! As couples go, they are believable together. Opposites do attract.
As I mentioned, this book is longer than the first two, but I think this might be a negative, even though I’m always going on about how I want short books to be longer. But I felt like I saw the date and the aftermath, and then just needed it tied up in a neat ending, a small morsel to satisfy my taste buds. All in all, I can only say it was a good effort.
What I’d like to see next is a story about the owners of Full Moon dating service, Harvey and Stone. There seems to be some unrequited lust that needs to be addressed! And I’m sure that would make an interesting story.
Full moon Dating, Evgeny and Feng is a solid story of two shifters set up on a blind date. It delivers heat and sweetness and will satisfy your craving for some paranormal romance.
