Blurb: Danny has decided it’s time to make his life drama free, and he’s going to start with his living arrangements. The strife caused by a previous roommate is not something he aims to repeat. His plans are neatly shattered, however, when the new roommate arrives. Javier is exactly the kind of temptation he was hoping to avoid—and with him comes a whole new set of problems that leave Danny helpless as to who he really wants.
Review: Roommate Adventures is the first book I’ve read by Michael War. It follows Danny, a gay man who had some difficulties with his roommate, Patrick. Enter Javi and the fireworks are ignited. It’s only when the reason for Danny and Patrick’s troubles reveal themselves that the fireworks explode.
This was a fun read. Not deep, but quick and enjoyable. While I personally would have enjoyed a little bit more character development, the plot moved at a quick pace and the sex was highly descriptive and provocative.
A definite recommend as a poolside read, ’cause you’ll need to take a cool dip after you finish.
