G’day everyone! Welcome to my Pulling Leather blog tour and a peek into the world of rodeo cowboys. (The official schedule can be found here.) This wouldn’t be a proper tour without some prezzies, of course, so read on for giveaway details. Thank you for kicking off my new tour, and to all of you for hopping in the saddle to ride along!
The Blurb: The toughest ride of his life is all in his head.
Bull rider Scott Gillard has a reputation for quick fists and harsh words. What no one knows is where that anger comes from. After a shocking incident sends him into a tailspin, he knows he needs help: he’s been fighting a battle he could never win. Now he’s trying to navigate a new life and embrace his true self, but some days are easier than others.
Pickup man Cory Ackerson has suffered his share of harassment, but his light still burns bright. He doesn’t let anything or anyone keep him down, so when he meets the rugged cowboy with a battered chip on his shoulder and regret in his dark eyes, all he wants to do is help.
As their unlikely friendship grows into something deeper, Scott must overcome his past to be the man Cory deserves, or lose his best chance at his own happily ever after.

cowboy….just can’t get into rockstar mentality
Cowboy, love a hawt guy on a horse!
Definitely cowboy. Nothing looks quite like a cowboy in a nice fitting pair of jeans. :-)
Cowboys all the way. Its that rugged thing
cowboys, that polite manners and manly tough bod… YUM
Cowboy. The mentality and hard work honed muscles and body are hard to pass on.
Never known a cowboy but they shore look purty…….
Cowboy. Everything about them is sexy.
Cowboy. A rockstar would be awfully high maintenance.
Also, I finished Pulling Leather already. It was very enjoyable.
Cowboy…cu there is something so very sexy about a man who woeks the land. Not to mention the jeans and boots!
Cowboy. He works closely with the land and animals. You can be fairly certain he has integrity. A rockstar may very well have let the worship go to his head.
Cowboy – rock stars seem like too much maintenance and you have all that partying, which is not my style. Plus, cowboys have horses and I love horses. :-)
Thanks for the post and giveaway.
I always liked cowboys. To me they represent the idea of the strong, hardworking and yet sometimes silent male. :)
depends how they’re written
Cowboys. There’s just something sexy about them and rock stars seem like they could be so high maintenance!
I’m fine with either. Itall depends on how the story is written and the personality of the characters.
I love both rockstar and cowboy books so I can’t really choose. I do know this series is great and can’t wait to read this latest book.
I like both. Give me a retired rock star who is now a cowboy and that covers all bases!
In real life? A rock star. On the pages of a book? Either as long as they are well-written. I finally read Pickup Men this weekend, it was wonderful!
Tough choice. I like that cowboys are down to earth, but there’s something about musicians…. Can I have both? o.o
So tough! I love that rock stars are artistic, but that doesn’t mean a cowboy isn’t. And a cowboy is likely athletic and hard-working, but that doesn’t mean a rock star isn’t. I’d probably say that a cowboy edges out a rock star. :) thanks for the giveaway!
