Review: The Elevator Mechanic is a great, quick read I enjoyed, and I liked that it wasn’t your typical workplace romance. Our MCs are both down to earth guys who have worked hard to get where they are. In this book we meet Joe, the shy elevator mechanic who seems to want more out of life but doesn’t have the confidence to stand up for what’s right and go after what he wants. Then there’s Bill Evans, the sexy, kind, new business owner.

While it was nice to see two guys go from one-night-stand to smexy buddies to relationship, it would have been nice to see them get to know more about each other, get their back-stories, the events that shaped their pasts as well. The story also seemed a little one sided but having said that, this book is about Joe and Bill’s relationship, and it’s a well done novella for anyone who wants a quick, sexy read!
