Guest Post and Giveaway: The Dinner at Fiorello’s Blog Tour With Rick R. Reed

When you have dinner at Fiorello’s, you’re gonna get three things:

1. Good food
2. Good wine
3. Good music

If you’re lucky, you’re also gonna find a little atmosphere that might lead to some amore, you know?

While the food teases your palate, and the wine makes you fuzzy and warm, there’s gonna be music underneath it all. Here’s what you might hear on any night when you stop by Fiorello’s for a plate of macaroni and red gravy and maybe, just maybe, the capture of someone special’s eye.

DINNER AT FIORELLO’S PLAYLIST

1. Scenes from an Italian Restaurant (Billy Joel). Hey, it’s a natural for the list! And that, Billy Joel, he’s a good boy.
2. Italian Wedding Tarantella. If you’ve ever been to an Italian wedding, either as a guest or the guest-of-honor, you know this one.
3. O Mio Babbino Caro (from Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi): Opera and Italian food go hand in hand.
4. Se Dolce Suoni (from Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermore) Love, tragedy, high notes and opera all go together so well…this one should be listened to during the appetizer course.
5. Mambo Italiano (Rosemary Clooney). Hey paisano, take my advice: learn how to mambo!
6. That’s Amore (Dean Martin). And what else, really, is there?
7. The Way You Look Tonight (Frank Sinatra). Vito and/or Henry could have sung Ol’ Blue Eye’s song of love the moment they first laid eyes on the other.
8. Innamorata (Jerry Vale). Vale and Veal…perfect accompaniments to romance?
9. Theme from The Godfather (London Philharmonic Orchestra) If you’re lucky, the object of your affection will make you an offer you can’t refuse.
10. Love Theme from Cinema ParadisoThe gorgeous music by Ennio Morricone is perfect for dessert…in or out of the restaurant, if you catch my meaning.
