Everyone knows that relationships that begin in pressured or volatile situations eventually fizzle out. Or do they?
Review: I think if you have read any of Sandrine Gasq-Dion’s series, you kind of know what to expect when it comes to her writing. You get super strong and sexy alphas who are crazy protective of their guys, which you absolutely get in this book. Also, as with all of this author’s books, the story is super-hot.
I think Fret is an awesome start to this new series. To be completely honest, it’s all kinds of predictable, but with that being said, I still loved it and couldn’t put it down. Axel and Gareth are pretty adorable together. Actually, I really liked all the guys in the story. Well, with the one exception, but you kind of see it coming so you have a chance to build up and really not like him by the time everything goes down.
The mention of the bands from one of my other favorite series was fantastic and made me smile. Mac, and especially his wife Christy, had me chuckling every time they were around.
I get the strong relationship between Gareth and his brother Ransom because I’m really close to my brother and feel the same kind of protectiveness toward him. From the minute I saw my brother when he was a baby, to today, I would do anything for him, so I enjoyed seeing that between Gareth and Ransom throughout the book.
I’m really looking forward to Jinx’s story and to following along with more of the guys in the series.
