Dragon Course & Nightmare

Gideon stared at his professor as the students took their seats. Unlike the majority of his instructors who were dragons, the Military Language Instructor was dressed in the standard black Earth Forces fatigues. Though Gideon was in his second month of language training for High Dragon, he still found it difficult to relax when most of his instructors were dragons. He had yet to recover from everything Drago had done to him.

“Today we’ll be discussing dragon origins,” the instructor said. The room fell silent as he clicked a small remote, bringing up a hologram video in the front of the class. The video was a close up aerial image of two men talking on a busy city street corner. Though the men’s conversation had been bleeped, everything appeared normal enough, but in the next moment a black dragon came into view down the street. People began to scream, running in every direction as the dragon swooped down the street straight toward them. The camera continued to hover over the men, and when they looked up, they shrieked and began to flee. The moment the dragon pounced on them, the instructor clicked the remote, making the image disappear.

“This video was taken from a government surveillance drone and is one of the earliest images of dragons after their arrival on Earth nearly four hundred years ago. As you may already know, dragons come from the planet DKS, and they were originally brought to Earth for scientific research. However, the military grossly underestimated their intelligence, and the dragons were able to organize and take over a facility. After killing every human in the building, they escaped and roamed the city, terrorizing the occupants and causing people to flee their homes. As a result, the city of Austin became the first dragon-occupied territory. Earth Forces were ill-equipped to deal with the dragon problem at the time, but after years of fighting, they were eventually able to eliminate every dragon on Earth. Despite the perceived victory, we started receiving reports of a genetic mutation. Some human women who’d been raped by dragons had given birth to what appeared to be human children, but when the offspring reached adolescence, they gained the ability to shift into dragons. This new generation of dragons became more deadly than their predecessors due to their ability to blend in with humans. Before Earth Forces could respond to the problem, the dragon population was too far out of hand. In fact every dragon you see today is a result of this mutation.”

When the instructor stopped talking, one of the students raised her hand. “Go ahead, Sergeant,” the instructor said.

“If dragons are so deadly, I don’t understand how dragons live among us now and how we even have dragon instructors. Did mixing with humans make them tamer?”

“That’s a good question. As far as we know, dragon nature continues to be predatory, and scientists have yet to discover whether new generations have gained any sense of humanity. There have been many attempts for dragons and humans to mutually co-exist. Dragon registration has been effective to a point, but there are still many illegals that choose to live in the occupied territory to avoid registration laws.”

Gideon listened intently, taking notes while the instructor continued to answer questions. He wanted to tell the class he was from DKS, but remained silent. He was too shamed that he knew nothing about dragons. He’d grown up ignorant of the fact that dragons even existed. Drago had been the first Dragon he’d ever met.

When the class ended, Gideon picked up his books and headed out. Everything he’d learned that day whirled around in his mind, making him want to know more about Drago. If Drago had been alive for three hundred years, he was likely more dragon than human. That night Gideon dreamt he was on the street corner in the video. He’d fled with the rest of the people, but the dragon had honed in on him, and chased him into a dark alley. Gideon sprinted down the alley, and when he arrived at a brick wall, his heart felt like it was going to explode. He turned just as the dragon crept up, his yellow eyes shining and smoke puffing from his nostrils.

Gideon looked both ways, adrenaline burning through his veins. He was ready to fight–to do anything to escape, but his insides were already turning to mush. The dragon had yet to touch him, but he could already feel what was about to happen. Gideon took another step back, then the black dragon turned blue before his eyes. All of a sudden it was Drago stalking him. It was Drago getting ready to drive his cock into him. When Drago’s tail lashed out and snatched him off his feet, Gideon cried out and woke with a start. He shot up in bed, heart pounding, and looked around. He was safe in his room. Gideon wiped the sweat from his face. He’d had another dream, but this time he’d woken before Drago had claimed him. Taking a deep breath, Gideon grasped his erection, groaned, and lay back down.
