We’re so pleased to have audiobook narrator Dorian Bane joining us at The Novel Approach today. Dorian performs the narration for L.C. Chase’s Pickup Men series (among other works), so L.C. submitted a few interview questions to him, which he then answers, of course, in audio.
Riptide Publishing is also offering the chance for one lucky reader to win a free Riptide Audiobook from Audible. To enter the giveaway, all you have to do is leave a comment below–tell us what you love about listening to your books in audio format, or just say “hi.”
Comments must be received by 11:59pm Eastern time on Sunday, March 20, 2016. One winner will be selected at random on Monday, the 21st, and contacted by email for prize delivery,
Enjoy and good luck!
The Blurbs
Pickup Men: It takes a pissed-off Brahma bull named Shockwave to show rodeo pickup man Marty Fairgrave the cold hard truth about champion bull rider Tripp Colby: Tripp will never leave the safety of his closet or acknowledge Marty in public. Sometimes loving someone just isn’t enough, and after a year of hiding what they are, Marty finally sees the light—and it’s no longer shining on Tripp.
Tripp Colby would do anything for Marty. Well . . . almost. He’s never loved anyone before, and isn’t quite sure how to handle it now. But he knows Marty is his everything, and in order to win him back, Tripp will have to overcome his darkest fears and step into the light.
But no matter Tripp’s intentions, the cost might be too high and the effort too late for these two cowboys to ride off into the sunset.

Let It Ride: Pickup man Bridge Sullivan is the kind of cowboy everyone wants—as a brother, a friend, a lover. People think he’s straight, but Bridge isn’t one for labels, and when a sexy male paramedic jumpstarts his heart, he charges in with all guns blazing.
New York City transplant Eric Palmer grew up in foster care. While he always had a roof over his head, he never felt love or a sense of belonging . . . until he joined the California rodeo circuit as a paramedic and found a band of brothers who took him in as one of their own. Now, one in particular is making Eric’s pulse race.
When things heat up between Bridge and Eric, Bridge has to prove to Eric he’s not just experimenting with the rougher sex, while Eric must overcome his fears of being unwanted and cast aside. He knows that trusting Bridge may be the key to his happy ever after, but getting in the saddle is much, much easier than learning to let it ride.
The Interview
Author Bio: Cover artist by day, author by night, L.C. Chase is a hopeless romantic, free spirit, and adventure seeker who loves hitting the open road just to see where it takes her. After a decade of traveling three continents, she now calls the Canadian west coast home. When not writing sensual tales of beautiful men falling in love, she can be found designing book covers with said beautiful men, drawing, horseback riding, or hiking the trails with her goofy four-legged roommate.
L.C. is a two-time Lambda Literary Award finalist for Pickup Men and Pulling Leather; an EPIC eBook Awards winner for Pickup Men; an EPIC eBook Awards finalist for Let It Ride and Long Tall Drink; Bisexual Book Awards finalist for Let It Ride; and an Ariana eBook Cover Art Awards winner. She also won an honorable mention in the 2012 Rainbow Awards for Riding with Heaven.

Narrator Bio: Dorian lives in a comfortable condo in not so sunny Columbus, Ohio, where he clutters the living space of his fellow narrator and roommate, Rosko Raines, as well as his much better looking other half. When not behind the mic at Dark Night Sound, you can usually find him settled at home reading whatever novel (or novels) he is currently buried in, or slaking his thirst for wanderlust behind the handlebars of his motorcycle, Lilith. Dorian enjoys good food, strong drinks, and nights spent with friends around the gaming table. He dreams of one day voicing the DC Comics character Lobo in a video game, animated series, or any format possible.

Audiobooks add another dimension to the books that I love.
My mother read aloud to the whole family and audiobooks
remind me of that. Also, I can listen while walking or doing
chores and how great is that? I always have an ebook going
as well as an audiobook. Thanks for the chance to win!
I’ve just started getting into the e-book thing but I really enjoy them. It’s something different and I enjoy the different dimensions it adds to a story.
It brings the character more to life. It doesn’t hurt that some hard to say names are mentioned and we can hear the way it should be spoken.
I love this series! I would love the chance to listen to the audiobook since I recently started using them as a stress reliever while driving. (Crazy traffic!)
loved the interview, haven’t read this series
I love listening to audios and finding out how the narrator interprets the authors work
I love audiobooks because they allow me to do two of my favourite things together: Reading and going for a trek along the beautiful area surrounding my place. That’s Why I always have some e-book to listen to in my mobile. Nice wheather, a beautiful area and some interesting book to listen to… That’s perfection!
I’m still new to audio books but have started listening to a few, which I’m enjoying so much.
