Blogiversary Celebration and Giveaway: Welcome to Author Posy Roberts!

I love anniversaries, and December just so happens to be my anniversary month for many things. My husband and I started dating in December, we got married three years later on the 29^th, and I have four book birthdays this month as well.

Five years. Congrats! That’s amazing!

I looked back to see where I was five years ago and discovered I was working on final edits for my first novel, Fall Into You, before I submitted the manuscript to Dreamspinner Press. I’d already been writing for a few years, but I was finally ready to take the plunge and try to get published. And I’m so glad I did.

Since then, eight of my novels have been published, seven novellas, and three short stories, along with a few freebies along the way. I have several projects on the backburner, just waiting for my fingers to get to the keyboard. All my editing jobs have kept me from writing in recent months, so I’m anxious to get back to writing.

This December, my story Analog to Digital was released with the Dreamspinner Advent Calendar, and I drew on my experience of getting married during the holiday season when writing it. In 1994, Christmas and New Year’s was the backdrop to my wedding, but in the years since, our anniversary has faded between holiday celebrations. But December is still one of my favorite months.

I’m thrilled to have found The Novel Approach when I first published and to have worked with such a fabulous review site. You are a true gift to our genre. Thank you for celebrating love that comes in all forms! Happy Anniversary!
