  7. I LOVED the Adrift series from TJ Land. I won the first one on blog tour and the publisher was sweet enough to include the ARC of book two. I was totally HOOKED! I’m also a HUGE fan of Tales of Amaranth by Thom Lane. If you love France, his French Wine series is worth a read as well. :)

  8. It’s so fun to see Nicholas Kinsley’s Love is For the Living on your list, Jennifer. I haven’t seen many people talk about it, and it was a great read for me last year. I’m so ready for Love in the Ruins whenever he can get that to us. I don’t think I read anything with that much mayhem, especially of the zombie variety, this year. The closest I can think of is Tal Bauer’s Executive Office books, with all their political intrigue/terrorism amongst the falling in love. I just kept turning pages as fast as I could with Enemies of the State and Enemy of My Enemy. Thanks so much for sharing your list with us. I have a few of yours on my TBR and added Guardian Angel, which looks fab.

  9. Everything Rhys Ford – especially the Cole McGinnis series. All the Avon Gale books I’ve managed to read so far, which is think is only 3. Jordan Castillo Price’s Psycop series. Charlie Cochet’s Thirds series.

  10. Thanks for your top books. All of them sound great, and along the SF lines, I liked the Interscission series this year, along with Foxes by Fleet, and Lavender in Bloom.
