Cheers, friends and fellow book rebels! Welcome to Banned Books Week 2017, the one week out of every year that we show our appreciation for the American Library Association, the Office for Intellectual Freedom, and our freedom to read challenged and banned books.

In the past year, we’ve lost two integral voices in the LGBTQ writing community, authors Eric Arvin and, more recently, Paul Alan Fahey. Their loss continues to echo across the community in their absence, but their voices continue to be celebrated through the written word.
