Interview and Giveaway: Bitten by Desire by Annabelle Jacobs

Lisa: We’re so pleased to welcome author Annabelle Jacobs to TNA today to celebrate the release of her newest novel, Bitten By Desire. I’m so glad you could join us today, Annabelle!

Annabelle: Thank you so much, Lisa, for having me on your blog today.

The third book in my Regent’s Park Pack series, came out yesterday, and so most of the questions in my Q & A relate to that book 😊

Although the storyline continues through all three books, each one focuses on a different pairing, and book 3 is all about Alec Knight, a Regent’s Park pack beta, and Mark Appleton, a member of the Primrose Hill pack.

Lisa: Tell us something about yourself that most people don’t know.

Annabelle: Hmm…. Let’s see, when I was 7 I had Peritonitis because my appendix burst, and the doctor told my mum I was putting on the agonising pain for sympathy. In the end I only had about three hours for them to do the surgery before things got dicey. Oh, and there was an ambulance strike at the time and my dad was away – with our car. Fun times! Lol. Thank God for nice neighbours.

Lisa: What’s your favorite scene in Bitten By Desire, and what makes it a fave?

Annabelle: It’s a scene near the end, but I can’t say much more because that would be a massive spoiler, lol. But it’s my favourite type of scene to write, and I loved every minute of it. The words flew out.

Lisa: Would you care to share an excerpt from the scene with us?

Annabelle: I would love to, but that would be like telling you the end. Sorry ☹

Lisa: If you could spend some real-life time with one of the characters in the book, who would you choose and why?

Annabelle: Alec, definitely. I just love him. I say this with each book, I know, but I think he might be my favourite out of all the characters I’ve written. He’s a little misunderstood, but honest, loyal and totally badass. And about 6ft 4” with broad shoulders and muscles. So…..

Lisa: On the flipside, which character would you probably least get along with? Why?

Annabelle: Wes, hands down. I think I’d murder him in two seconds flat. He’s a nasty piece of work: jealous, selfish and has no regard for anyone but himself. His loyalty is easily bought, and he just has no morals, basically. So an all-round lovely bloke!
