Exclusive Cover Reveal and Giveaway: 415 Ink: Rebel by Rhys Ford

I am very please to announce 415 Ink: Rebel will be out in December 2017 and comes to you from Dreamspinner Press.

The series revolves around five men who have banded together to form their own family and now own a tattoo shop in San Francisco called 415 Ink. Survivors of the foster care system, these five brothers have carved out new lives, looking to one another for support and guidance as they struggle to find love and happiness in a world too quick to judge them by their pasts. Three of the brothers—Gus, Ivo and Bear—are talented and versatile tattoo artists while Mace has gone on to become a city firefighter and Luke is a child advocate, returning to fight for the children who cannot speak for themselves.

The first book, Rebel, belongs to Gus and a love he lost along the way. It was exciting, interesting and poignant to write Gus’s story and more importantly, allowed me the opportunity to bring a true romance to life. I’m looking forward to writing the rest of the stories in the series and introducing you to the rest of the 415 Ink family.

Oh…and one last thing, I have partnered with a few extraordinary, well-known tattoo artists to provide custom tattoos for each book in the 415 Ink series. Every cover will feature a tattoo the artist has exclusively designed for the book as well as be available on merchandise at the Rhys Ford CafePress Store. 415 Ink: Rebel’s tattoo was created by Micah Caudle of Flying Panther Tattoos in San Diego, and I am excited to work with the owner of Flying Panther Tattoos, Rob Benavides for another one of the series’ designs. When Gus’s life and world starts to unravel, Rey helps him pick up the pieces, and Gus wonders if that forever Rey wants is more than just a dream.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Rhys Ford is an award-winning author with several long-running LGBT+ mystery, thriller, paranormal, and urban fantasy series and was a 2016 LAMBDA finalist with her novel, Murder and Mayhem and a 2017 Gold and Silver Medal winner in the Florida Authors and Publishers President’s Book Awards for her novels Ink and Shadows and Hanging the Stars. She is published by Dreamspinner Press and DSP Publications.

She’s also quite skeptical about bios without a dash of something personal. Rhys shares the house with two cats, Yoshi, a grumpy tuxedo and Tam, a diabetic black shorthair, as well as a ginger cairn terrorist named Gus. She is also responsible for the care and feeding of a 1979 Pontiac Firebird and enjoys murdering make-believe people.
