Blurb: Officer Chad Charming absolutely does not believe in love at first sight, or even love at all. Apple Grove is famous for their Fairy Tale Parade, and Chad is working when a horse carrying the parade’s Prince Charming kicks him, landing him in the hospital.
Jeff Garner’s family has a history of love at first sight and the local high school drama teacher is mortified when his horse kicks the sexiest man he’s ever seen. One look and he knows Chad’s the man for him.
Jeff sets out to woo the man, even though Chad makes it clear he isn’t looking for a relationship. While Chad recovers from his injuries, the two become close, but can Chad ever get past the idea love isn’t real and allow himself to love his very own Prince Charming?
Review: Officer Charming and the Prince Who Wooed Him seemed liked it would be a humorous tale of romance and modern wooing that was sadly let down by a super indecisive main character. To begin with, the story launches into exposition; however, this isn’t terrible as we get a great understanding as to how Officer Charming got to wonderful town of Apple Grove. Though once the wooing begins, Officer Charming runs so hot and cold I’m surprised he didn’t spontaneously self-combust in confusion, and for a person who claims throughout the entire book to adore his sister, we never see or hear of any conversation with her.
Jeff Garner, however, is a wonderful character who is patient throughout all of Officer Charming’s deliberations, and shows himself to be a wonderful boyfriend. I just wanted to take him home and keep him for myself. I enjoyed the author’s slow build and more realistic take on a budding romance, and how Jeff wormed his way into Officer Charming’s heart without him really noticing.
The plot is so focused on convincing Officer Charming that love is a real thing, and something he’s found with Jeff, that the town felt a bit like a prop, and even some of the secondary characters we were introduced to were flat, and I would have loved to see a bit more development of the town and its residents.
The sexual tension between the two was kept on a steady burn, which was a good thing as otherwise my interest might have gone completely. Overall, an interesting book if you’ve nothing else, but not something I’d read again.

Hi. Thanks for the review and the feedback. I hope to keep growing as a writer and I honestly appreciate any feedback, good or bad. My next novel comes out on November 25th- Holding On. Several of the things you pointed out that this story lacked are things I, too have realized. I am hoping that this next book does a better job of tackling some of those issues.
