Thank you to Lisa and everyone at The Novel Approach for having me today! I’m excited to tell you more about my latest book, Alpha Heat, the sequel to last year’s fan favorite Slow Heat.

When I typed the words THE END on my non-shifter Omegaverse book, Slow Heat, last May, I knew that I simply had to write a book for the character of Xan, the best friend of one of the MCs of Slow Heat. Xan was such a unique character living with so much pain that I knew he absolutely required a happy ending.

Almost immediately the general set up of the book appeared to me and I had a very clear image of the final scene. A sense of certainty about the ending isn’t common for me (other than that it will be happy!) when writing, so that seemed further proof that a book for Xan was meant to be.

Readers obviously shared my concern for Xan and his happiness, because for the rest of the year, even up to the day before Alpha Heat’s release, I received emails, messages, tweets, and comments asking if there was going to be a book for Xan because readers needed to see him happy.

I’m so pleased to now be able to say, “Yes! And here is Xan’s book, written just for you!” It took a long time to finish up, but I’m absolutely thrilled with the final product. The story is exciting, juicy, sexy, full of emotion, and I love it so much! I hope everyone else who wanted to know more about Xan is happy too!
