Blurb: Asher Williams is obsessed with love.
His column is thriving, fellow students trust him with their relationship woes, and he’s on his A-game when it comes to matchmaking. At least, matchmaking other than his own.
After a heartfelt letter written to his column, Asher is set on aiding the two love-struck heroes who desperately need his help.
But like every heroic quest, there are a few bumps in the road and dragons to slay.
Randy and Red can’t stop passing looks whenever Asher voices his plans; the handsome Christopher might not be quite what Asher expected; and his dark, mysterious roommate, Morgan, might have a surprise or two up his sleeve.
It doesn’t matter though. Nothing will stop Asher when it comes to helping people find their true love.
He’s absolutely positive everything will work out in the end.
Because love is always like a fairy tale…right?
Review: Asher Williams is back and as in love with love as ever, as dedicated to romantic wish fulfillment as he’s ever been—the more challenging the entanglements of the heart, the better, as far as Asher is concerned!
But now it’s his own heart that’s getting tied up in knots. And the suspense is delicious, thanks.
All the regular players are back in this chapter of Asher Ever After, as our big-hearted hero dedicates himself to the task of helping an established couple find the courage to tell the Golden Boy on campus that they want to make him their own. A throuple? Piece of cake for Asher the Love Guru. He’ll make it happen…in spite of a couple of minor details that might present a problem. Never fear, though, this is his specialty. He’s got this.
But boy, do things happen along the way that ever-so-slightly wilt the bloom of Asher’s ever-blossoming rose.
Nash Summers scores another win with Golden Boy and the Two Bears. This is feel-good-romance at its most earnest, full of the unabashed joy of finding that special someone, with witty dialogue and fun banter; the perfect afternoon read on a sunny summer day. Or even a cloudy day, because these books are pure concentrated sunshine all on their own. Things have escalated in this installment of the trilogy—did they ever—and it was a nice tease to leave us hanging on. Now, all that remains to be seen is if there will be any sort of fallout afterwards. Come what may, though, I have a feeling Asher’s wish for a forever kind of love of his own is about to come true.
A King in Wonderland drops July 2nd, so there isn’t long to wait for Asher’s Happily Ever After. Thank goodness!
