At a Glance: Ariana Nash (writing as Adam Vex) hasn’t missed a single beat since she closed the first story arc and opened this one. Adam, Zee, and Victor are as warm and wonderful as they always have been; not to mention the sweetness, spiciness, and sassiness readers have come to expect and love from these characters are alive and well.

Blurb: Did you think it was the end of our wild hotel adventures?
Yeah, us too.
The Big Bad is gone. We’re heroes! Adam, Fancy Fangs, and me (Zee, obvs) are long overdue some downtime. I’d also like a foot rub, a string of Tom’s hallucination‑inducing cocktails, and endless hours of some much needed personal time between the sheets with my two favorite people. And my pole.
Hello, happy ever after!
But it turns out, fate ain’t done with us yet.
Everyone’s favorite sunshine twink is great at unexpectedly unaliving folks who probably deserve it. What he’s not great at is keeping secrets. So when Adam packs our bags and springs a surprise vacation on us, it’s obvious—even to senile ancient vampires like Lord Fancy Fangs—that something is up.
We’ll play along and won’t ask questions, because it’s Adam. He’ll tell us what’s really going on . . . eventually.
But as we take the SOS Hotel team on the road and the weirdness stacks up—biker‑gang werewolves, psycho witchy influencers, trolls, fairy souls, and sinkholes—there’s one question Fancy Fangs and I can’t shake.
What the f*ck do dragons run from?

Review: They’re ba-aaack . . .
When Adam, Zee, and Victor saved San Francisco at the end of Your Final Resting Place, I had no idea that wasn’t their farewell tour. But would you look at that; the gang is together again, and this time they’re taking the show on the road thanks to an unexpected (and unwelcome) visitor from Adam’s past. Zee and Victor have no idea why they’re running away with Adam for parts unknown, but that’s unconditional love for you. Where Adam goes, Zee and Victor are there to support, protect, and defend, no matter what. No questions asked. And Adam will do anything to keep the two loves of his life, and the Lost Ones at the SOS Hotel, safe from harm.

The only thing that’s changed is the setting. While I missed the the SOS Hotel and all its supernatural shenanigans, the throuple ending up in the middle of a murder mystery, in the middle of nowhere, in the midst of a werewolf pack, and then offering to amateur sleuth their way out of being accused of the murder, was just the right combo to remind me why I love this series so much.
