Review: Bad Boy: Naughty at Night features a kindergarten teacher/naked masseuse who is trying his best to keep his class up and running. When he makes a promise to accept a reduced salary to make that happen, he doesn’t realize, at first, that he will have to supplement his income somehow.
The sensual massages help to make ends meet but once he meets Chip, he doesn’t know how the man will react to his second job since Chip has a pretty neat job of his own. Peter finds himself falling for Chip and at the worst possible time, Peter gets an indecent proposal.
This book had a few things going for it. There was the “hot for teacher” aspect, the cop MC, and, of course, the kids. I love kids. What it didn’t have for me was a great ending. I know the author warned us readers about the cliffhanger, but I guess I was hoping for more meat to the story before it ended. I just don’t feel that I got a good handle on the characters and wish they had been more fleshed out. I don’t feel I was given the opportunity to get to know them well enough to become invested in what happens to them in the future. This left the story feeling flat and me not much interested in reading the rest of the books in the series.
Now, just because this story didn’t do it for me doesn’t mean it might not work out for others. If someone is just looking for a fun, no-complications read, then they would most likely love this story.
