Top Five Gay Romance Novels
Thanks so much to TNA for having me today! It happens to be my birthday (you guessed it—I’m 29!), and recently when my family asked what I wanted, it got me thinking about my favorite things.
I love dystopian fiction, and in my new book Fight the Tide (the sequel to Kick at the Darkness), a terrifying virus has been unleashed on humanity, turning normal people into crazed killers. My heroes Parker and Adam were thrust together in a struggle to survive this new world order, and that struggle continues in the second part of their journey.
I also love gay romance, so this series combines two of my favorite things and has been so much fun to write. There will be a third book next year, and also a fourth centered on a young character you’ll meet in Fight the Tide.
Speaking of things I love, someone asked me recently to name my top five M/M books/series, and I really had to ponder it. As you might imagine, it’s tough to narrow it down, but I’m giving it a whirl!
My list of top five gay romance novels/series

- Treble Maker by Annabeth Albert. I adored this story of opposites attracting during a TV singing competition. Sweet and captivating and hoo boy, surprisingly dirty!
![the-gentleman-and-the-rogue[1].jpg](https://i0.wp.com/www.thenovelapproachreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/the-gentleman-and-the-rogue1.jpg.png)
- The Gentleman and the Rogue by Bonnie Dee and Summer Devon. I greatly enjoy all of Bonnie and Summer’s collaborations, but this one stands out as a favorite. There’s an age difference, a relationship that starts with sex and grows into love, and a cute kid in jeopardy. Pushes all my buttons!

- The Enlightenment Trilogy by Joanna Chambers. The emotional slow burn between David and Murdo is simply sublime. I love a slow build, and the payoff and character-building here is so satisfying. A great mix of historical plot with the romance.

- Smoky Mountain Dreams by Leta Blake. I’m admittedly biased as I edited this book and Leta is a dear friend, but hey, a fave is a fave. This book has it all: gut-wrenching family drama, smokin’ hot sex (the pearl scene!), and an uplifting ending. I’m pestering Leta for a sequel regularly.

- Whyborne & Griffin by Jordan L. Hawk. Engrossing mysteries and adventure mixed with characters who hit me right in the feels. I love this series so much I still haven’t read the most recent book because I don’t want it to be over. Good thing the new installment is out today! Happy birthday to me. :D
What are your top five M/M romances? Let me know!

About Fight the Tide
A virus that turns the infected into zombie-like killers spreads through a burning world thrown into lawless chaos. Lovers Parker and Adam have escaped to the open sea when they hear a message over the airwaves from a place called Salvation Island—a supposed safe haven.
Orphaned as a child, werewolf Adam has always longed for a pack. He’s eager to investigate the island, but Parker doesn’t think for a nanosecond that the voice on the radio can be believed. He doesn’t trust anyone but Adam and is determined to keep it that way. They don’t need anyone else complicating their struggle to survive. Or do they?
Danger on the high seas can surface in a heartbeat, and if Parker and Adam aren’t careful, the current will drag them under.
This gay romance is a dystopian adventure featuring a werewolf, his boyfriend, and their struggle to find a place to call home.

About the Author
After writing for years yet never really finding the right inspiration, Keira discovered her voice in gay romance, which has become a passion. She writes contemporary, historical, paranormal and fantasy fiction, and—although she loves delicious angst along the way—Keira firmly believes in happy endings. For as Oscar Wilde once said, “The good ended happily, and the bad unhappily. That is what fiction means.”
