Cheers, everyone, and welcome to a look at what we have coming up for you in the week ahead here at The Novel Approach.
If any of you had the opportunity to hit up a Pride celebration this weekend, I hope you had a fantastic time! I was fortunate enough to share a booth with authors Bru Baker and Mason Thomas, and I gave away loads of books by Rhys Ford, Mary Calmes, Eric Arvin, Brandon Witt, TJ Klune, Michael Scott Garvin, Soren Summers, Vanessa North, Becky Albertalli, Selina Kray, Stephanie Gayle, Tal Bauer–a total of thirty-six books!–along with some other goodies too. :) It was a day of joy and celebration, folks expressing themselves in whatever way represents who they are, and it was glorious. Plus, I fell in love with a little girl called Nola who just wanted to be worshiped. :-D

I have read several awesome books in June: Adam’s Song by Spencer Spears, How We Survive by Michele Notaro, Summer Heat by Jay Northcote, The Sweetest Star by Raleigh Ruebins.
That looks so exciting and you guys sound to have quite fun. Thanks for sharing the photos!
I’m a bit behind on reading this month, among the few title I read were Meg Harding’s Accepting the Fall and I finally read my first Jay Northcote’s book: Summer Heat. I still have Draakenwood, Broke Deep, Monet Murders & Lochlann among my TBR so it should be exciting. :)
Great photos Lisa! I saw some FB posts of your PRIDE yesterday <3 Chicago is not until the 25th. Looks like a good time was had by all :D
Looks like a great time. The books I’ve read so far weren’t published in June but they were fantastic:
Before You Break (Secrets #1) by K.C. Wells and Parker Williams
First & First by Santino Hassell
The Homestead series by Alex Jane
Garrett Leigh’s What Remains & Between Ghosts
My June reading has been a bit lax with the real world cutting into my reading time lol. But so far it’s Tearing Down Walls by Shea Balik, The Wounded Warrior by BA Tortuga, Rabbit by Catherine Lievens, The Case of the Wandering Wolves by Mell Eight, Lock by Hollis Shiloh, Uncommonly Tidy Poltergeists by Angel Martinez, Brandywine Investigations Open for Business by Angel Martinez, Cronin’s Key books 1-3 by NR Walker, and Sex Ed by ZB Heller. I think there are more but that’s as far back as I can be sure lol and these don’t include books read for reviews. I’m so looking forward to seeing Brandon’s cover reveal!!
My favourite book so far was What It Looks Like by Matthew Metzger – a real slice of northern British life.
I also read Cask Strength by Layla Reyne, book 2 of three and will be rereading both again when book 3 appears in August.
Bought and looking forward to is Draakenwood, more Whyborne and Griffin!!
I’ve done a few re-reads this month, and what it does is remind me of how much I love those books. Just finished Frog by Mary Calmes, Among The Living by Jordan Castillo Price and Strong Enough by Cardeno C.
My favorites of far in June are:
Draakenwood (Whyborne & Griffin #9) by Jordan L Hawk
Dim Sum Asylum by Rhys Ford
The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane by Lisa See (audiobook)
I’ve loved Choose Me by Delmire Hart and Wolves of Black Pine by SJ Himes
Just recently read “Ellery Mountain” series by RJ Scott they were really good and “Provoked” by Joanna Chambers.
I recently finished Idyll Threats – Stephanie Gayle, great mystery.
I read Elpída by C Kennedy. I wish it wasn’t the last book in the trilogy.
Let’s see:
A Worthy Man by Jaime Reese
Wed to the Omega by Ashe Moon
Ready for Love by Stella Starling
Draakenwood by Jordan L Hawk, An Unnatural Vice by KJ Charles, Mature Content by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell
Just read Mature Content by Megan Erickson and Santino Hassell…loved it! Other recent reads have been Devour by Jocelynn Drake and Rinda Elliott, Enemy Within by Tal Bauer, Concourse by Santino Hassell, and Cask Strength by Layla Reyne. Enjoyed them all. :)
Summer Heat by Jay Northcote was great. I also read the Made Marian series by Lucy Lennox and enjoyed them.
