The Q&A
C.S. Poe –
Q 1: Why do you enjoy writing holiday-centric titles?
Holidays always give the author an opportunity to work in more stress or obstacles for characters, and I never like to make a character’s life easy.
Q 2: Tell us something that makes this book special.
There’s a lot of real-life, Key West holiday vibes going on in That Turtle Story. For folks who live or have visited here, elements should feel familiar—like being welcomed home.
Q 3: What inspired you to write this book?
There were actually a lot of turtle nests on our beaches this year, and some of the hatchlings did end up in distress and required intervention from professionals. (Spoiler: it was a happy ending!)
Q 4: Are there any other holidays you’d like to write about?
I keep saying I want to write about Halloween! I haven’t yet, and that always surprises me….

Felice Stevens –
Q 1: Why do you enjoy writing holiday-centric titles?
I think holiday stories are fun and give the author a chance to show traditions that readers might not be aware of.
Q 2: Tell us something that makes this book special.
I’m a sucker for a wedding and especially a holiday wedding. Plus this book gave me a chance to tie in three series together and share catch up stories for some of my favorite characters.
Q 3: What inspired you to write this book?
I’ve been teasing about Marcus and Tyler’s wedding now for two books and I had no intention of writing one this season, but as I was working on a full-length book, Marcus kicked me and said “Stop leaving us hanging.” And since Marcus has always been one of my favorite characters, I couldn’t say no.
Q 4: Are there any other holidays you’d like to write about?
Oh Valentine’s Day is always a favorite and also Fourth of July.
========
SC Wynne –
Q 1: Why do you enjoy writing holiday-centric titles?
Because the holidays are filled with so many potential pitfalls that can lead to funny, heartwarming stories. During the holidays you can run into old lovers, there’s often family drama. All of those things can make for a great book.
Q 2: Tell us something that makes this book special.
It’s about an omega who can’t have kids. He thinks. I found his acceptance of that fact, and then the miracle of him getting pregnant fun to write.
Q 3: What inspired you to write this book?
I enjoy writing Christmas themed stories, and I hadn’t written an mpreg story in a while.
Q 4: Are there any other holidays you’d like to write about?
I’ve written a Halloween story. That was fun. I’d love to write another one sometime.
About the Books
That Turtle Story by C.S. Poe
Nor O’Brien spends his days in sunny Key West caring for and rehabilitating sea turtles. He doesn’t need anything else in life, expect maybe a significant other to cuddle with after a long day. But recent heartbreak has left Nor salty, and he’s not in the mood for anything, Christmas included.
Then Eugene Montgomery walks into Turtle R&R, claiming to have found a clutch of eggs in distress. Nor is smitten with the tourist at first sight, and at the suggestion of his screwball colleagues, indulges in some no-strings-attached fun. Nor and Eugene are quick to get along, happily enjoy each other’s company, and take in the island’s unique holiday pleasures together.
But Nor would never leave his turtles, not for any man. So when his rebound fling turns into strong romantic feelings for Eugene, it’ll take a Christmas miracle to keep the two together forever in Key West.

Single Omegas Only by SC Wynne
Tyler Sly was born unable to conceive, and when you’re an omega, that’s a problem. When his brother convinces him to join him on a singles tour of the wine country, Tyler grudgingly agrees. But when he gets there, his brother is a no-show.
Ronan Blade is just freshly divorced from his wife of two years, and he’s trying to get back into the dating scene. When he meets Tyler, something clicks inside for him. He’s drawn to the quiet omega and begins to spend all his time with Tyler.
Tyler is equally drawn to Ronan, and soon the two men are inseparable. Once the tour ends, the men decide to keep in contact. By now, Ronan is realizing his feelings toward Tyler are not simply those of a friend.
When Ronan comes clean to Tyler about his true feelings, the two men give in to their physical need. But Tyler doesn’t trust that an alpha who’s only been with women his whole life can suddenly love a man.
It’s no wonder then, that when Ronan’s ex-wife shows up, her appearance sends Tyler into a tail spin of fear and doubt.

Felice Stevens has always been a romantic at heart. She believes that while life is tough, there is always a happy ending just around the corner. Her characters have to work for it, however. Like life in NYC, nothing comes easy and that includes love.
She lives in New York City with her husband and two children. Her day begins with a lot of caffeine and ends with a glass (or two) of red wine. She’s retired from practicing law and now daydreams of a time when she can sit by a beach and write beautiful stories of men falling in love. Although there are bound to be a few bumps along the way, a Happily Ever After is always guaranteed.

I love holiday stories. They help me get in the mood for Christmas!
I agree, Susana!! <3
Congrats on the releases! I’m liking the tour idea, especially with several different authors and stories. Holiday stories are some of my favorites, though sometimes I feel they can veer too sad.
A holiday story shouldn’t be sad! Not in my opinion anyway. They should make you feel good, and warm the cockles of your heart. :D
